“Anybody can get it. The hard part is keeping it.” -Dr. Dre

Why I’m Writing The Daily Self Newsletter

For years, I’ve been deeply passionate about fitness and self-care. But in all my research, training, and personal experience, I’ve discovered something important: The way we approach fitness and self-improvement is often incomplete.

  • The fitness industry tends to focus on quick fixes—trendy workouts, fad diets, and “hacks” that promise overnight transformations. But these methods rarely deliver sustainable results. Meanwhile, wellness influencers often swing too far in the other direction, offering routines that sound good in theory but are impossible to stick with in real life.

  • Our modern world, with all its distractions and comforts, isn’t designed to help us get fitter, stronger, or healthier. And when we rely on shallow solutions, we only scratch the surface of what’s possible.

What Makes Daily Self Different

The Daily Self Newsletter isn’t just about giving you another workout plan or diet to follow. It’s about helping you understand the why behind your fitness journey. I dive into the psychology of motivation, the science of habit-building, and how to create a lasting relationship with fitness that fits your life—not the other way around.

I provide practical, science-backed insights into how to train smarter, not harder. My approach combines research from neuroscience, behavioral psychology, and fitness, creating a deeper understanding of how to transform your body and mind. And because life is unpredictable, I focus on strategies that work in the real world, not just in perfectly controlled conditions.

This isn’t about optimization for optimization’s sake. It’s about building real, sustainable change—without losing sight of what makes life enjoyable.

Why Daily Self?

The name Daily Self comes from the idea that lasting change happens one day at a time. It’s not about massive, overnight transformations. It’s about the small, consistent steps you take daily that lead to real, meaningful progress.

When you understand the why behind your actions, those small steps become easier to stick with. Whether it’s showing up for a workout, making a better food choice, or shifting your mindset, the goal is to build a version of fitness and wellness that’s sustainable for the long haul.
